What you should know about Aroha Mountain Lodge
Greg and Linda originally developed aloha Mountain Lodge in 199 after buying the impaired Harry Arden homesteads from the Arden family. Being qualified to walk to the cafes and the supermarket makes it a unique place to live. Greg and Linda are two most passionate about Historic Te aloha and will remain to encourage the pretty town and its warm thermal mountain. The Lodge is within effortless walking distance of a number of restaurants and cafes, pubs and main street shops.
Around us the manicured Edwardian domain grounds are as pristine as ever, with trickling streams and flowerbeds that remain brings even in winter. In Waihi we rode around the top of the Goldmine Pit which took about an hour. Nestled at the foot of Mount Te aloha, the Lodge and our cottages are ideally located to explore and enjoy the famous warm mineral pools, soda spas, bush reserve and the Hauraki Rail Trail. The kitchen calm housed the ingenious coal range together with a more fresh stove, while an used copper was stowed in the wash house.
We do spot the world’s only hot soda water geyser and an ancient Lauri near the begin of the trail
