Frank’s sausages are Frank and Sheryn Nagel a husband and wife team located west of Te Aroha, nestled at the base of the Kaimai Ranges. Frustrated with a lack of good quality sausages available in his adopted New Zealand, Frank a German native from Hamburg started making his own sausages in the laundry at home. In Germany traditional sausages are not made with inferior quality meat nor are fillers added and Frank found that most sausages he came across in New Zealand were little more than floor scrapings with flavourings added
