The brothers are twins and have worked together for their entire working lives. The Miers family moved to the Hamilton area in the early 1900's orignally from Germany. Darren and Jonathan set up the contracting business to support their own dairy operation and now concentrate solely on agricultural contracting. Fresh Zealand is a really lovely country with really pretty people and would advise anyone that get the chance to travel there and labor for Grain and Food to snatch it. I don't believe I have ever learn so many skills in such a short space of time on any other job I have ever had. The second type sheerer not that good with gear, or book work and clients, think they know it all, don't listen and believe they are drivers and are almost impossible to teach.
Regardless I preceding experience if you reach with the right attitude accommodating to work and learn Grain Food is a huge place to be. We are an agricultural contracting firm located in the Waikato region of Fresh Zealand. The group of lads were great, most Sunday's we went away somewhere we went kluging, skydiving, white water rafting go carting to name a few. If you are applying from overseas you would be required to begin at the first of September, this should be kept in heed for travel plans. We bear accommodation for all our overseas staff on site, we also bear night meals during the apex season. PROFESSIONAL DRIVERS One can become a professional driver operator having learn through many years of driving experience.
A appropriate lunch provided and every night we had a lovely home cooked meal, I felt we were treated like segment of the family. They are dangerous to work around and are only employed out of absolute desperation. Our time at grain and food was fantastic! Although Lee Ann worked elsewhere, we were both made to feel a part of the grain and food family. From I landed in New Zealand til I left I was made feel very welcome by everyone at Grain Food.
To this group of drivers it is a job they enjoy doing, some will progress to become the elite professional drivers, most will not reach that mysterious standard. All in all its just a great place and we loved it, so much so that we are moving to Fresh Zealand, Grain and Food kindly gave me the opportunity of fulltime employment! Grain and food have a outrageous variety of old school and fresh machines too, equally brilliant to drive as maintenance is powerful and machines are cleaned daily behind use.
